Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser: Care of Wooden Floors by Will Wiles
In London, I was never alarmed by crowds, instead feeling that they were my milieu, the pressing discourse of humanity, the language of the Tube, the very soul of the city. Here, they were different.
I’m crawling my way through this book, but that’s probably because I don’t really have much time to read in general at the moment. Additionally, this is not a book to just read while being on the train or waiting for an appointment. It has so many quotes you want to write down, so many fantastic sentences you just have to absorb with 100% of your attention. And I haven’t even encountered the funny parts this book promises! 🙂
What are you reading this week or throughout December?
Let me know,
